LTS Tax has opened an office in Jersey at Titan House, Liberation Square.
The Guernsey-based tax advisory firm said the move reflects an increase in work from Jersey-based clients and intermediaries, and will enable it to provide services from a permanent presence on the island.
Across the Channel Islands, the firm’s team includes 13 Chartered Tax Advisers and eight ACCA-qualified accountants. The expansion means it now offers Guernsey, Jersey and UK tax advisory, accountancy and compliance services across all three jurisdictions.
Harry Malet de Carteret (pictured) has been appointed Managing Director of the Jersey office. He has more than a decade of experience advising on Jersey and UK tax matters and is a Chartered Accountant (ICAEW) and a qualified Tax Technician (ATT).
He is also a committee member of the Jersey branch of the Chartered Institute of Taxation and acts as the CIOT–ATT liaison.
In Jersey, the firm will work with a range of clients including individuals and corporate entities.
Harry Malet de Carteret said: “I’m excited to lead this expansion and build on LTS’ current reputation and success. We’re committed to building strong relationships with Jersey intermediaries and providing the same personal, high-quality service that LTS are known for.”
Paul O’Neill, Managing Director of LTS Tax in Guernsey, said: “LTS has established a strong reputation in Guernsey, and we are regularly being recommended to clients in Jersey. Opening at Liberation Square is the natural next step to support our growing Jersey client base.”
