HSBC has welcomed more than 60 people into new roles across Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man over the first quarter of the year, including 28 promotions, 25 new joiners and nine lateral moves.

Those starting in new roles are across the Bank’s broad spectrum of business areas spanning International Wealth and Premier Banking, Private Banking and Corporate and Institutional Banking, and include a range of roles including Head of Service and Oversight, Senior Relationship Manager, Client Propositions, Client Service Executive and Quality Service Manager, with a key focus on customer service.

Welcoming and congratulating those receiving promotions and starting in new roles with the Bank, Warwick Long, CEO, HSBC Channel Islands and Isle of Man, said: “At HSBC we pride ourselves on creating a supportive, nurturing and progressive environment for our staff and so I’m delighted to see people across the islands progressing and evolving in their careers, as well as welcoming a significant number of new joiners. We continue to focus on building a strong reputation for being an employer of choice and this momentum is testament to our commitment to these values.”

Elvina Aghajanyan, Head of People at HSBC Channel Islands and Isle of Man, added: “It’s encouraging to see our continued growth through new joiners and internal promotions, especially as we’ve been recognised as a Top Employer for the third year running. We look forward to seeing our new colleagues develop and thrive in their roles, and to the fresh perspectives they’ll bring to strengthen our teams and the service we provide to customers.”
