Dementia Jersey has been recognised at the Digital Jersey TechAwards 2025, winning the Creative Award, for its ‘Boost Your Brain’ campaign – developed in partnership with Snap.
The campaign was designed to raise awareness that people can reduce their risk of dementia by up to 45% through simple lifestyle changes. Working closely with Snap, Dementia Jersey delivered a digital-first public health campaign that blended creativity, technology, and behavioural insight to engage islanders in a fresh, accessible way.
Through animated explainer videos, an interactive online quiz, and brain-shaped QR codes placed around the island, the campaign turned complex science into simple, memorable actions – helping more people understand how to look after their brain health.
Claudine Snape, CEO of Dementia Jersey, said: “We’re absolutely delighted to receive the Creative Award. ‘Boost Your Brain’ was about making an important message feel hopeful, engaging, and empowering. Working with Snap gave us the opportunity to approach public health in a completely new way — using creativity and digital channels to reach more people and inspire positive change. This recognition is a wonderful celebration of what can be achieved through collaboration.”
The Digital Jersey TechAwards, held annually, celebrate individuals and organisations using technology and innovation to make an impact in the island. Dementia Jersey’s win highlights how creative partnerships can transform awareness, engagement, and community wellbeing.
Tom Le Sueur, CEO of Snap, added: “It’s been incredibly rewarding to help a charity with a cause so close to me personally get the recognition they deserve. The Dementia Jersey team pour their hearts into everything they do, and this campaign is proof of how creativity can be used to genuinely improve lives. We’re proud to have played a part in bringing their vision to life.”
