Ogier has announced the career progression of 47 colleagues across its legal, corporate and business services teams.
In the law firm, 17 lawyers have progressed their careers while in Ogier Global, the firm’s corporate and fiduciary services division, 17 individuals have been recognised. Across Ogier’s Business Services teams, 13 people representing the firm’s Human Resources, Business Development, Information Technology, Regulatory Operations and Compliance and Risk teams have new roles.
On the legal side in Jersey, Ross Forde has been promoted to managing associate with Kamogelo Sono and Penjani Mseteka moving up to senior associate, all in the Banking and Finance team. Danielle Newton and Dylan Cox have become associates, while Mia Dixon is now a senior paralegal.
There are four promotions within Ogier’s Luxembourg legal services, with Fabiana Popescu and Lucie Steinmetz are now managing associates, while Laurianne Vessot and Maddalena Bonamini Leitner are now senior associates.
In Hong Kong Sabrina Leung has been promoted to senior legal manager, while Boris Lam also moves up the ladder to legal manager. Grace Gao has also progressed to counsel.
Suneeta Lee has progressed to senior associate in the Cayman Islands with Marika Scotland becoming an associate. Carl Moran has been promoted to managing associate in Ogier’s British Virgin Islands office. In London, Oksana Lutsiv is now an associate.
In Ogier Global, there were nine promotions in Jersey. Craig Healey and Kris Rive are now senior managers, while Kirsteen Moulson and Erica Harman are both now client accounting services managers and Lucy Fraser and Jake Muirhead both managers. Monica Sandru moves up to fund accountant, Cerys Griffith is promoted to senior administrator and Holly Ovenden moves up to administrator.
In Hong Kong, Maggie Yip is now a client relationship manager, Michelle Lam and Serene Lai have been promoted to manager, with Miki Wong progressing to administrator.
Vilma Burke is now an associate director in the Cayman Islands, with Katelyn McLaughlin receiving a progression to administrator. Jeff Pamplin has been progressed in Ireland to head of fund administration for Ogier Global Fund Services, while Mafalda Da Silva Pereira is now an accountant in Luxembourg Corporate and Fund Services.
Seven of the promotions across Ogier’s Business Services teams are in Jersey, where Courtney Sansom is now HR operations and systems manager, Kathleen King is now regulatory operations controls manager, Laura Malpass has been promoted to managing legal counsel, Virendra Barbate and Vicky Cafferkey have been promoted to business systems managers, while Maria Varsanyi-Danyi is now a corporate governance senior administrator and Tatiana Fernandes is now reward and employee value proposition manager.
In Luxembourg, Carine Boutin is now senior business development manager, while Mike Gueguen has been progressed to assistant manager on the IT service desk. In Hong Kong, Melody Wong and Kira Cheung are both now senior CDD officers. Michelle Ebanks has progressed to assistant manager in the Cayman Islands, while Nigel Williams is progressed to compliance assistant manager in the British Virgin Islands.
