Deloitte in Guernsey has appointed ten senior members of staff to its Audit and Assurance team as it looks to meet growing demand for its service offerings.
The new team members represent a diverse range of backgrounds and experience, some of whom have relocated from Deloitte’s global offices.
Ali Haider Rizvi and Muhammad Ashhad have been appointed as Senior Managers. Ali has a diverse professional background and qualified as a chartered accountant in 2005. Muhammad has more than 15 years’ experience in audit, quality control and risk management.
Dania Azraq has been appointed as a Manager and brings over ten years of financial services experience in banking and funds to the business
Also joining Deloitte in Guernsey as Assistant Managers are Jenno Pedernal, Ahmad Alkharsa, Denis Kato, Jannath Makakala, Oluwashina Sunday-Adetona, Shayan Abbasi and Syeeda Aroosa Zehra Zaidi.
Prior to joining Deloitte, Jenno worked with Deloitte in the Philippines for ten years while Jannath worked with Deloitte in Tanzania and Uganda for six years. Denis has also relocated from Tanzania and Shayan worked with Deloitte in Oman and Pakistan, performing external audit engagements for banks, sovereign wealth funds and real estate funds. Syeeda’s experience includes handling multiple assurance assignments for a wide spectrum of clients including financial institutions, commercial banks and asset management companies prior to joining Deloitte Guernsey.
Ahmad’s new role at Deloitte in Guernsey will focus on investment funds and private equity management, while Oluwashina will lead audit engagements and mentor younger team members.
