RampArts Jersey invites you to an exclusive evening of art, music and history at the historic Elizabeth Castle.
Located at the old Governors house on Elizabeth Castle, the event launches the exhibition of heritage inspired works from thirteen local artists. The exhibition will continue through to August 1st.
RampArts Jersey is a local platform for artists. They work together to create exciting and contemporary exhibits and projects to share with the island.
Heather Brown, the Founder of RampArts explained to Channel Eye: “We encourage anyone with a creative thread, who might like to shed some light on their talents to get in touch to work with us. There is creativity in every corner of every parish, and we want to raise our hands and grab it the attention it deserves!”
To access the event, head across the Elizabeth Castle causeway at low tide from the castle kiosk at 5:30 pm. The event will finish by 8:00 pm before the causeway starts to cover.
Musicians Joe Hutchinson, Greg Alliban, Lucas Saunter and James Perchard of ‘Perchard’s Wall’ will set up in the open air, at the base of the Governors granite staircase, to perform a mix of original sounds and sensational tributes.
The ticket also entitles you to a drink and a selection of veggie and non-veggie grazing platters.
