Aurigny has been working on a national TV campaign in collaboration with VisitGuernsey.
The new, large-scale campaign is on-air now within the UK and Ireland, reaching an audience of more than eight million adults, and 1 in 5 adults across England.
The ads will be broadcast on ITV3 nationally during primetime and on ITV1 regionally in the West Country, London, Meridian East, and Yorkshire regions, as well as, for the first time, in the Republic of Ireland on Virgin Media 1.
The adverts were produced by a local film crew and creatives. The aim is to increase visitor consideration for our beautiful islands, show their ease of access by air, and further support our important local tourism industry this summer.
Sam Talbot, Head of Marketing at Aurigny said: “We are delighted there is a shared appetite to bring Aurigny and VisitGuernsey closer together. Our goals are aligned, and by sharing insights and working more closely, we can better inform and target campaigns with a data-driven approach that helps us achieve measurable results, both for our airline and the vital hospitality sector”
Zoe Gosling, Lead Marketing Officer for the States of Guernsey, said: “Taking a collaborative approach with Aurigny to market the Islands of Guernsey makes sense. Working together means our message goes further, and this joint marketing campaign offers some exciting opportunities for us, which we hope will translate to increased awareness and ultimately more visitors, as well as promoting how well-connected we are.
“We are committed to a joint approach with Aurigny to put Guernsey in front of those who are yet to discover us – and also remind those who may have visited us previously why it’s time to come back.”
