Guernsey’s online beauty and fragrance retailer allbeauty is celebrating record sales over the Black Friday weekend.
The local eCommerce business, recently named Best Online Shop by consumer group Which?, received 64,000 orders between Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
That added up to 40 tonnes of fragrance and beauty products.
Chief Operating Officer Janice Mancini said: “This year’s Black Friday to Cyber Monday was another record-breaking weekend for allbeauty. The season has well and truly started so the challenge now is to keep up the great work by our fantastic team and make sure our customers have a very happy Christmas!”
During peak times, 1,400 orders were packed per hour and sent to 46 countries around the world. Calvin Klein’s Euphoria Eau de Parfum 100ml was the most popular fragrance.
Sales to the UK alone added up to £2.8million.
allbeauty’s top selling products across the year are Elizabeth Arden’s Eight Hour Cream, Hugo Boss Boss Bottled aftershave, Calvin Klein Euphoria perfume and Benefit They’re Real! Lengthening Mascara.
