Walkers’ strategic growth in Jersey continues with the arrival of three more lawyers across their practice groups.
Senior associates Bradley Gibb (Insolvency & Dispute Resolution) and Timur Ochkhaev (Investment Funds & Corporate), and associate Victoria Barclay (Insolvency & Dispute Resolution) have joined the firm recently.
Their arrivals take the number of new arrivals in their Jersey office to 13 in the past 12 months.
Bradley Gibb has more than six years’ experience at another offshore law firm and his experience includes all manner of contentious and non-contentious insolvency and trust matters.
Timur Ochkhaev advises on a wide range of corporate law matters focusing on cross border M&A, private equity, equity capital markets and company reorganisations and restructurings. Prior to joining Walkers, he worked in the financial services team of another offshore law firm.
Victoria Barclay joins Walkers from an international law firm where she trained and practised for over five years. She advises on general civil and commercial litigation, trust disputes and both contentious and non-contentious insolvency and restructuring matters.
Jonathan Heaney, managing partner of Walkers’ Jersey office, said: “We continue to invest in and grow our teams across all practice areas demonstrating our confidence in the Jersey market.
“Our newest recruits bring with them a mix of offshore and onshore experience, and more importantly, they fit our ethos of delivering a seamless, dynamic service that makes financial services work.”
