Walkers Jersey and London teams have advised Opera Group on its acquisition of the Accuro group, a private wealth specialist with a focus on ultra and high-net worth families and entrepreneurs, subject to regulatory approval.
The transaction marks a significant move for Opera as it expands into key strategic markets and broadens Opera’s capabilities across private client and corporate services.
The Jersey team was led by Corporate partner Kevin McQuillan and associate Angharad Prescott (pictured).
Their multi-disciplinary team also included Employment partner Daniel Read and associate Lauren James, Regulatory & Risk partners Gemma Palmer and Sian Langley, Insolvency & Dispute Resolution partner James Turnbull and associate Victoria Barclay, and Investment Funds & Corporate senior associate Timur Ochkhaev and associate Gemma Nicol.
The London team (who advised on BVI law) was led by Corporate partner Neil McDonald and senior associate Tom Esler.
