Walkers has appointed Jennifer Morries as senior counsel in Guernsey, in its Private Capital & Trusts practice.
Jennifer (pictured) advises on a broad range of offshore trust and private wealth matters, including wealth structuring, succession planning, and trust and estate administration. She works with high-net-worth individuals, families and trustees on complex cross-border arrangements, with particular experience in international wealth structuring and intergenerational planning.
She joins Walkers from a specialist private client practice, where she was an associate partner. Jennifer qualified as a solicitor in 2013, is admitted in England and Wales and is a full member of STEP.
Rupert Morris, partner and head of the Channel Islands Private Capital & Trusts team, said: “Jennifer brings strong technical experience advising individuals and families on complex private wealth structures. Her arrival further enhances our ability to support clients across multiple jurisdictions from our Channel Islands platform.”
Jennifer Morries added: “Walkers has a well-established Private Capital & Trusts practice with a clear focus on cross-border client work. I look forward to working with colleagues across the Channel Islands to support clients with their evolving structuring and succession needs.”
