The UAP Group (UAP) has appointed Jane Duchemin to its board as a Non-Executive Director.
Jane has more than 35 years’ experience in the finance industry, holding senior positions with banking institutions and independent trust companies at board level in Guernsey, Malta and the UK. For the last 20 years she has been instrumental in the development and administration of a range of employee benefits solutions, including onshore and international pension schemes for corporate clients and individuals.
“We are delighted to welcome Jane to the board of The UAP Group. Jane brings with her considerable experience in the development and administration of a range of pension and employee benefit solutions for both international clients and for the Guernsey pension market. In addition to her technical knowledge she has also been involved in the selection and development of the software required to administer these schemes,” said Rob Shipman, Group CEO and founder of UAP Group.
“Our company core values of challenging the status quo, working for our partners and doing things better have been built on our desire to deliver the best client experience and I’m confident Jane will help us to continue to deliver exactly this. We have exciting plans for additional acquisitions in the next 12 months, which will further enhance our offering, and Jane’s input as we move forward with our strategic growth plan will also be very much welcomed by our board,” concluded Rob.
Jane’s appointment follows UAP Group’s recent acquisition of Concept, which further enhanced UAP’s scale and capabilities, and saw the business become one of the largest pension providers in Guernsey, employing over 65 people across the Group.
UAP was established by founders Rob Shipman and James Floyd in response to a gap in the market for a dynamic trust and pension company, utilising the most current applications. On establishing UAP, the team developed a suite of products to meet the needs of people of any nationality, wherever they reside. UAP employs a team of professionals across Guernsey and London, ensuring the rigorous regulatory requirements of each jurisdiction are managed by local specialists. UAP provides pension services, trust and company services, family office structures, contracting and payroll and yacht and aircraft structuring and registrations.
Jane joins fellow UAP Group other Non-Executive Directors – Roger Berry and Lyndon Trott.
