Intertrust in Jersey has appointed two new client directors within its fund services team as Methé Porter has joined the company and Nick McHardy has been promoted.
Miss Porter is a qualified accountant with more than 15 years’ industry experience. She has a degree in accounting, a diploma in credit risk management and is a Chartered Financial Analyst Charterholder. She specialises in providing business solutions and plans for clients during transitional periods and high-risk, complex transactions. Miss Porter will work on a large private equity client to ensure her team continues to provide excellent client service to meet the client’s needs.
Mr McHardy joined the company in 2013 where he started as a senior financial account manager and progressed as manager onto developing two new teams; a funds operations team and an administration team. He has a degree in accounting and financial management and qualified as an accountant with PwC in 2010, where he worked for eight years. Other than focusing on the delivery of client service, he will ensure internal key performance indicators areadhered to from a finance, risk and compliance perspective and support the team in achieving this.
As client directors they will both ensure the delivery of optimal client service so that Intertrust’s funds team has the right structure, tools and guidance to meet the client’s needs. They aim to strengthen existing client relationships and help forge new ones as the business grows.
