Offshore law firm Appleby has welcomed Associates Larissa Dezyk and Tshepang Phiri to its growing Jersey Corporate team.
Larissa (pictured) has a range of experience which encompasses a broad range of corporate transactions, including M&A, restructurings, private equity and equity capital markets, alongside general corporate and ESG advisory work.
Tshepang advises on a range of high-value international transactions, and acts for financial institutions, corporate sponsors and borrowers in relation to complex, multi-jurisdictional bilateral and syndicated facilities, refinancing, restructuring and security enforcements, with particular expertise in acquisition and real estate finance.
Larissa, who completed her training contract at leading firm Herbert Smith Freehills in London, said: “Appleby has an excellent reputation and I am enjoying getting to know colleagues and clients while gaining insight into the distinctive approach to legal matters here in Jersey.”
Tshepang, who has worked at leading firms in Johannesburg, Jersey, and London (most recently PwC Legal), said: “I am excited to have joined the fantastic Corporate team and look forward to being part of Appleby’s continued success.”
