Jersey-based technology specialists, TSG, have appointed James Baker as their new Business Development Executive to deliver the next phase of the firm’s ongoing growth.
James ran his own pan-Europe cybersecurity business where he co-designed, product managed and deployed in excess of 500,000 hardware devices and software licences to local and central government, healthcare and financial services across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. At its peak, his business was supporting over 200 NHS organisations.
Andy Delaney, Chief Executive Officer at TSG Technology Services said: “This is a really key appointment for TSG and I am looking forward to working with James, and seeing how his experience, knowledge and drive will move our business forward. We are extremely excited to have James on the team and I know that his drive for success and his business insight will be a huge benefit to TSG.”
Earlier this year, TSG designed, built and implemented an online system to enable local frontline health care workers, and other Island services, to get the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) they needed quickly to fight the Coronavirus pandemic.
They have also recently announced a strategic partnership with G4S to deliver a range of technology-led services to address ongoing governance requirements following the Covid-19 crisis. The partnership is in direct response to requests received from clients to be able to access documents remotely during and after the pandemic.
James commented: “This is a fantastic opportunity for me to work with a group of people who have tremendous skillsets, and an exciting range of products and services. I am really looking forward to running a number of the new initiatives that TSG has planned for release before the end of the year. It will be great to get to know the team and help drive this local business to new successes.”
