Marie said: “I joined the firm because of its highly experienced team and its care for building strong relationships with its clients. We truly care about our clients and have a tight-knit team that shares the core values of striving to deliver excellence.
Rachel Rushton (shown to the left in the main picture) joined Trust Corporation International as a Trust Manager in 2014 and was later promoted to senior manager. Rachel has more than 20 years’ experience working predominantly in private client focused roles in the fiduciary departments of international banks. In Rachel’s new role, she will continue to manage a portfolio of complex offshore structures, be responsible for the growth and development of one of the firm’s administration teams and sit on the Boards of the subsidiary companies of Trust Corporation.
Ms Rushton is a member of STEP having completed the Diploma in Offshore Trust Management.
Rachel said: “Having joined the firm after working mainly at bank-owned trust companies it was great to join an independently owned company that allowed me to take on new challenges. I have a real passion for mentoring and developing the skills of my team, so I am looking forward to gaining more opportunities to explore this in my new role and further increase my knowledge by being on the Board of the subsidiary companies.”
Michael Betley, chief executive officer of Trust Corporation International, said: “We are delighted to have promoted both Marie and Rachel following their long tenures at Trust Corporation. Both have a wealth of fiduciary and private client expertise and their passion for providing our clients with intelligent, first-class service is testament to why they their promotions are fully deserved.
“As a people centric business it’s so important that we nurture our talent and Marie and Rachel are two great examples of team players who’ve grown with us. Both will also be instrumental in bringing through our next generation of managers and directors, a role I know excites them hugely.”
