Donna Le Tissier has been appointed transformation director for the Medical Specialist Group.
This is following more than 15 years of delivering large-scale transformation projects for the States of Guernsey.
Highlights of her time with the States include transforming the Guernsey Registry from a 100-year- old paper-based system to a new online system, and the design and delivery of a large scale, complex programme of change for the Committee for Health and Social Care that culminated in the Partnership of Purpose Policy Letter.
Now she is bringing her professionalism and energy to support the MSG with its transformation programme so that it can deliver greater value for money and service outcomes for islanders.
Ms Le Tissier said, “It’s great to be back in healthcare. I loved being a civil servant, and I love the fact that I can continue to serve the public as part of the MSG.”
While working for the States she achieved a Master of Science (MSc) in Corporate Governance and is now studying for an MSc in Business and Organisational Psychology. She also co-designed and delivered several leadership and cultural change programmes.
Jon Buckland says, “Donna has come to the MSG with a great reputation for “getting things done” at the States but at the same time she really understands the importance of communicating and engaging with people to bring them with her on the journey. For me, these skills are essential for us to deliver the changes that are required. She has a wealth of experience which will support us on our transformation journey. I am excited about what we can achieve together with our partners and colleagues to develop our services at the MSG and to continue to improve outcomes for patients.”
