Skipton, the Guernsey-licensed bank with a Mortgage Centre in St Helier, has been awarded a prestigious Top Mortgage Employer 2022 Award.
The Award, which finds out which companies in the mortgage industry are getting it right with their employees, was launched by Mortgage Introducer magazine for the first time this year.
A top employer can encompass many things, including good benefits, resources and management, but to uncover the roots of what truly makes an organisation a wonderful place to work, it looks at its people.
To qualify for this award, organisations were invited to provide details of various practices based on metrics such has culture, benefits and employee development. Mortgage Introducer then confidentially surveyed a number of Skipton’s employees to gauge their own feedback.
Jim Coupe, Managing Director at Skipton International, was delighted with the accolade. He said: “We are extremely honoured and proud to have been recognised as a Top Mortgage Employer. We know our products are consistently rated highly, and feedback from our global customer base indicates our customers are more than satisfied with our offering. However, to be recognised for an award based on colleague feedback is extremely humbling and we are looking forward to celebrating with other industry professionals at the Awards ceremony in November.”
