On 5 October, Managing Director of Tupper Loan Company (TLC Finance), David Tupper, will be embarking on his sixth trek to raise money for Jersey Cheshire Home.
This year’s trek will take place in Jordan, starting the Dana Nature Reserve near the Dead Sea and finishing in the ancient city of Petra.
Accompanied by Bedouin guides, the majority of the eight-day trek takes place through the ancient mountain and desert trails. David and his fellow trekkers will spend nights sleeping under the stars in desert camps.
The trek finishes in the stunning red canyons of Petra, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. Once the trek has finished and they have had a well-deserved rest, David and team will spend their final day exploring the lost city of Petra, which is carved into the desert mountains.
David’s wish is to raise £5,000 for Jersey Cheshire Home, to enable them to continue with their invaluable work to provide care and support to people living with a range of disabilities including Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s, Epilepsy, Spina Bifida, Strokes and Head injuries.
