Fund administration business FIM Capital has become the second Isle of Man-based member of The International Stock Exchange (TISE).

FIM Capital has been approved as a Category 2 Listing Member of the Exchange, enabling the company to sponsor investment vehicles which wish to become or are already listed on the Exchange.

Fiona Le Poidevin, CEO of The International Stock Exchange Group (TISEG), said: “I am delighted that FIM Capital has been approved as a Listing Member of TISE and in doing so, has become the second member firm from the Isle of Man.

“We launched our presence in the Isle of Man just over a year ago and this is another major milestone in the development of our business in the island.”

There were 197 newly listed securities on TISE during the first quarter of 2018, which was a rise of 16.5% year on year. It took the total number of securities listed on TISE to 2,606 at 31 March 2018.

FIM Capital provides specialist fund administration and investment management services to a range of private and institutional clients. It is an independent company, regulated by the Isle of Man Financial Services Authority and the UK Financial Conduct Authority.

Graham Smith, CEO of FIM Capital, commented: “This is a logical step for us in providing a comprehensive range of services to our clients. Our aim is to provide a high level of personal service, prompt communication and excellent organisational skills based on technical expertise and many years’ experience.

“We have a particular expertise in managing and administering quoted companies and consequently the ability to provide a listing capability will serve to further enhance our overall proposition for existing and new clients. We deliver accounting, shareholder, secretarial, corporate governance, compliance and valuation services to both open ended and closed ended vehicles, and our professional team continually add value to the businesses we are asked to administer and adopt a ‘head above the parapet’ approach.”

Carolyn Gelling, Head of the Isle of Man Office of TISEG, added: “I’m very pleased that FIM Capital has become a Listing Member of TISE. There has been significant interest from a number of different companies in the island who want to work with us and it is great to have added FIM Capital to our network of members and associated advisers and administrators in the Isle of Man who will facilitate business with TISE.”
