La Grande Mare has appointed Nic Bell as Golf Operations Manager, with Sandy Cronje and Paul Chalker also joining the Golf Operations team.
The appointments come ahead of the opening of the new golf course to the public on 1 August.
Nic Bell joins from London Golf Club, where he completed his PGA Professional qualification. He began working in the golf industry at 16 and has experience in golf operations, retail management, competitions, coaching support and member services.
He also completed an internship at the Tommy Fleetwood Academy at Jumeirah Golf Estates in Dubai.
At La Grande Mare, Nic will oversee the day-to-day running of the golf department, including events and competitions, retail operations and team management.
Sandy Cronje will support guest services, retail operations and the daily running of the golf facility. She was previously a member of La Grande Mare Golf Club for seven years and served on its Ladies Committee for five years.
Paul Chalker has been appointed Golf Operations Assistant. He has more than 40 years’ experience in business and manufacturing and has previously served as Club Captain and Chairman at Whalley Golf Club in Lancashire.
