Jersey and Guernsey-based telecoms firm Airtel-Vodafone has been awarded the prestigious Customer Service Excellence accreditation after being assessed by national body. The Centre of Assessment’s accolade means Airtel-Vodafone is the only retailer in Channel Islands to make the grade.
CSE assessor Michael Lynch said: “The organisation was clearly focussed on providing the best service for its customers. Staff that work for Airtel-Vodafone came across as being firmly committed to the success of the organisation through the provision of effective services to the many people that came into contact with them.”
“This has been a very good review for Airtel-Vodafone and there was excellent evidence of that benefiting from working with the Customer Service Excellence framework.”
It comes as they open a new flagship store and head office in St Helier, with a greater focus on customer service.
Amanda Vye, Airtel-Vodafone’s Head of HR, said: “Operating in a small island community in such a crowded market place, commitment to excellent customer has to be at the heart of everything we do, so it’s pleasing to see such a fantastic assessment reflecting our core values.”
