The Blue Note Bar, a long‑standing Butcombe Group partner pub in St Helier, Jersey, has officially reopened its doors following a full internal and external refurbishment.
The re-opening marks the start of a renewed long‑term partnership with tenants Elwira Gniatek and Tomasz Tura (pictured), who have signed a new lease securing the venue’s future until 2033.
Tomasz Tura, Owner of The Blue Note Bar, said: “We’ve had a great relationship with Butcombe Group since taking over the pub in 2018, and we’re delighted to announce our new long‑term lease and the collaboration that made this refurbishment possible. The Blue Note Bar is an important part of the local community, and this investment ensures it will continue to thrive for years to come.”
The project forms part of Butcombe Group’s continued investment into its leased and tenanted estate across the Channel Islands, supporting long‑term operators and strengthening the future of well‑loved community pubs.
Dominic Rowley, Head of Leased and Tenanted at Butcombe Group, says: “We’re committed to investing in our partner pubs and supporting the fantastic operators who run them. The Blue Note Bar has gone from strength to strength under Elwira and Tomasz’s stewardship, and this refurbishment — alongside their new long‑term lease — reflects our confidence in the venue and its future.”
