The Atlantic Hotel, Jersey has announced new outdoor private yoga and Pilates classes for guests this spring and summer.
One-to-one classes in this breath-taking coastal setting have been developed in partnership with local wellness centre, Kalimukti, which has one of the most experienced teams of yoga and Pilates instructors on the island.
With The Atlantic’s tranquil gardens and uplifting coastal views across St Ouen’s Bay as the backdrop, participants will breathe in the fresh sea air, allow the breeze to clear their mind, feel the sun on their face and let expert instructors guide them through their practice.
Tailored private tuition for one or two people may be booked at any time during a stay, from invigorating sunrise sessions to a calming dusk practice. Classes are held in a choice of locations around the hotel, the established gardens and the extensive grounds.
The introduction of the yoga and Pilates classes complements the arrival of the summer pop-up Spa set on the headland overlooking the bay below, a conservation area of outstanding natural beauty. Guests will benefit from this carefully curated menu of wellness treatments and classes in the serenity of the unique location, the ideal method to revitalise the mind and rebalance the body.
Calli De La Haye, the original founder of Kalimukti, explained to Channel Eye: “The Atlantic is set in one of the island’s most captivating spots, surrounded by nature. We are proud to be partnering with the hotel to offer private, personalised lessons designed for guests to switch off with the great outdoors as their soundtrack.”
Patrick Burke, owner and managing director, The Atlantic Hotel, adds: “Wellness is an increasingly important part of daily life. Guests at The Atlantic have long shared with us the transformative effect a stay in our beautiful coastal setting has had on them. It seemed only natural to take this a step further with the development of our wellness offering and the introduction of these new classes designed to make the most of our extraordinary location.”
