The event, organised by Digital Jersey, will see some of the world’s most influential tech titans coming to Jersey to share their expertise and industry experiences.
Among the keynote speakers, on Monday’s Internet of Things Day, is Michael Jansen, the CEO and Chairman of CityZenith. He uses so-called ‘digital twins’ to create 3D virtual versions of buildings to transform the way cities are developed.
On Tuesday’s Digital Health Day, Will Smart from NHS England will be showing how technology is transforming the way healthcare is being delivered to improve outcomes for patients and carers.
Wednesday’s Fintech Day will see Ted Lin, the Chief Growth Officer of cryptocurrency exchange Binance, share his many experiences of using technology to disrupt industries and find fresh ways of working.
Tony Moretta, CEO of Digital Jersey, said: “It’s been months in the planning, weeks in the fine-tuning, and now just days to go until Jersey TechWeek. Hundreds of people have already registered for the many events we’ve got planned, and there’s still time for anybody with a passion or curiosity for all things tech to come and join us. From our opening event, the Hackathon this weekend, to next Thursday’s inaugural Jersey TechAwards, there’s an awful lot to choose from. My message is really simple. If you even think you might be interested: come join us!”
Mr Moretta added: “At a time when the government is placing the importance of digital among its key priorities, as more businesses are understanding the benefits of rooting tech at the heart of their operations, and with upskilling our population to capitalise on the changing nature of work becoming critically important, I’m looking forward to seeing as many people as possible join us at Jersey TechWeek.”
