Sure Business has added Robin Black to its team as Professional Services Engineer – Unified Communications and Network.
Robin will be Guernsey based, installing, troubleshooting, and advising on new products and solutions for Sure Business’ clients, adding depth to the team across Guernsey, Jersey and Isle of Man.
As Professional Services Engineer, Robin will be primarily responsible for rolling out Sure’s suite of Mitel products and other unified communications software and hardware that offers clients a range of phone and text options. Along with this legacy product, he will also be responsible for helping to deliver Sure’s Cloud Voice solution, which allows customers to make calls from anywhere around the world using their Guernsey phone numbers from a computer or smartphone app via the power of the Cloud.
Unified communications are becoming second nature to organisations, as businesses require the ability to use text, video, and call services with increased flexibility following the demand of hybrid and remote working practices established by the pandemic. Robin will also support Sure’s customers by recommending new, relevant products and solutions.
Prior to joining Sure Business, Robin has worked in the ICT industry for more than 40 years. His vast experience has seen him work as an engineer for some of the most renowned brands on the market, from Siemens to Cable and Wireless. His background is in networking and Cisco voice products and solutions, making him an excellent fit for Sure’s growing -Professional Services team.
