SunWorks has announced the appointment of Tom Noel as Chair of the Board.
Having served as a Non-Executive Director for the past three years, Tom (pictured) brings a wealth of strategic insight and governance expertise to this new leadership role.
Tom comes from a successful corporate career with JT and originally joined the SunWorks board to gain greater exposure to the challenges of a growing local small business, while bringing his big-picture thinking to the company.
Tom’s step up to Chair marks a key moment in driving forward SunWorks’ growth strategy and reinforcing strong governance at board level. SunWorks’ Chair since its establishment in 2013 has been co-founder Ian Brandon, who steps aside after 12 years but remains on the board in a key strategic role.
Commenting on the appointment, Managing Director Mark Brandon said: “SunWorks is entering an exciting phase of development, and I’m delighted to welcome Tom as our new Chair. His leadership experience and passion for innovation will be a huge asset to the business. We’re planning some big moves for 2025, and Tom’s guidance will help us turn that vision into reality. As an IoD-qualified Chartered Director since 2016, Tom also brings valuable alignment, particularly as I work towards completing that qualification myself within the next year.”
Tom Noel said: “I’m thrilled to take on the role of Chair at SunWorks. It’s been a privilege working with the leadership and the wider team over the last few years, and together, we’ve laid a strong foundation for our ambitious growth plans.”
