Sue Fox has long been a champion for equality and inclusion in the workplace. She is a Global Ambassador for HSBC Balance, which promotes gender diversity across the firm. In the Channel Islands and Isle of Man, Sue is HSBC’s executive ambassador for International Women’s Day and the lead executive sponsor of HSBC’s Diversity and Inclusion Allies group, which works to cement an inclusive culture in the workplace.

The HERoes 100 Women Executives List is part of INvolve’s global HERoes Women Role Model Lists, which showcase leaders who are championing women in business and driving change for gender diversity in the workplace across the world. Representing multiple sectors and industries, those on our HERoes Role Model Lists have not only achieved success in their own careers but used this to actively drive for more inclusive workplaces.

INvolve are a global network and consultancy championing diversity and inclusion in business. In the community, Sue has given the diversity and inclusion agenda the highest visibility. She is the Executive Corporate sponsor of The Diversity Network in Jersey, which introduced a new D&I category at the Pride of Jersey awards, and has been shortlisted for Diversity Ally of the Year at the British Diversity awards.

Commenting on her inclusion in this list, Sue said: “I’m delighted to have been included on the HERoes 100 Women Executives list again this year. The promotion of diversity and inclusion in the workplace is important to me personally but it is also absolutely essential to the success and productivity of a business. Many organisations don’t lack female talent or ambition.

“What will accelerate gender diversity now is breaking down perceptions, showcasing female role models in all levels and types of role, and addressing unconscious bias. With more awareness and role modelling, education and conversation around gender, LGBT+ and all forms of diversity, we are creating a more inclusive culture where people are valued because of, and not in spite of, their differences”.
