She is the Executive Corporate sponsor of The Diversity Network in Jersey, which introduced a new D&I category at the Pride of Jersey awards, and has been shortlisted for Diversity Ally of the Year at the British Diversity awards.
Commenting on her inclusion in this list, Sue said: “I’m delighted to have been included on the HERoes 100 Women Executives list again this year. The promotion of diversity and inclusion in the workplace is important to me personally but it is also absolutely essential to the success and productivity of a business. Many organisations don’t lack female talent or ambition.
“What will accelerate gender diversity now is breaking down perceptions, showcasing female role models in all levels and types of role, and addressing unconscious bias. With more awareness and role modelling, education and conversation around gender, LGBT+ and all forms of diversity, we are creating a more inclusive culture where people are valued because of, and not in spite of, their differences”.
