Are you interested in having an opportunity to pitch your business in front of angel investors? Startup Guernsey and Barclays Eagle Labs have teamed up to host the second Guernsey Startup Pitch Competition.
The event, which will take place at 6pm on 13 November at the Digital Greenhouse, is one of the highlights of Global Entrepreneurship Week, which celebrates entrepreneurs around the world.
Pitch competitions are an excellent way to promote your business with a view to fostering new contacts, securing potential funding from business angels as well as gaining valuable media exposure and expert feedback.
Five companies will be selected to pitch, and will receive coaching before the event. The winning pitches will receive a £500 prize each for the most investable business idea and best pitch on the night. Prize money and sponsorship are kindly provided by Barclays Eagle Labs.
