Snap Design & Digital, a creative agency specialising in branding, websites and digital marketing was founded in August 2017 by Sam Bullock and Tom Le Sueur.
Now 4 years on, Snap has grown into a team of 9 local creatives and digital specialists working from their studio in St Helier.
After a tough year, the business is still going strong. Like most, the company had to adapt quickly as a result of the pandemic. Discussing the impact of the pandemic, Sam Bullock (Creative Director) said: “On a human level our team had three separate cases of Covid-19, various isolation periods and gallons of hand sanitiser. On a business level, it was pretty frightening. However, we appreciate our position as a company that can operate in the digital space. We’ve managed to see out the worst of a global pandemic while continuing to grow. It’s shaped our process, it’s forced our hand on occasions but overall it’s amalgamated our team and our collective vision.”
Snap has welcomed three new members to their team over the last 12 months, helping to increase output and expand their service offering.
Luc Pallot – Lead Designer
With a wealth of experience in brand design, Luc’s addition to their team has brought a sharp eye and creative flair.
Charlie Burgis – Developer
Charlie joins to help maximise their development team’s output and deliver unique and polished digital products.
Martin Perkins – Head of Video
Snap has now acquired Tinkins Video. Their latest recruit has been honing his craft as a freelancer before joining their team on a permanent basis. Speaking about the acquisition Sam said: “We’re delighted that Martin has joined the team and are excited to offer video as an in-house service to our clients. We’ll be sharing more information on Snap Video very soon.”
Over the last year, Snap has launched a wide variety of projects with their clients. These include:
- The Good Brow Club
- Rock n Road
- Roaming Soundtrack
- Map of Wonders
- 5 Mile Lager
- Club NED
- The Training Room
As their client base has expanded, so too has their offering. “There is much more to us than simple brochure websites. While we are pretty damn good at that too, we also offer bespoke, complex web portals and mobile applications. The launch of the fleet management platform and mobile app, Syner-g by Global Go!, helps showcase how we can help our clients save time and money” said Sam.
“We’re proud to look back on where we’ve been, especially the support everyone on the team has given to each other, the studio, and our clients in the past 4 years. It’s not always been an easy ride, but it’s been made a whole load better because of the team we’ve assembled,” said Sam.
