Carey Olsen has announced that it has six lawyers shortlisted for the 2019 Citywealth Future Leaders Awards.

The awards, which take place in London on Wednesday 13 November, aim to recognise and champion young professionals working in the wealth management sector and highlight the leaders of today and tomorrow under the age of 40.

Carey Olsen’s finalists, which include four from the firm’s Guernsey and Jersey offices, are as follows:

  • IFC Lawyer of the Year (partner) – Bernadette Carey (British Virgin Islands/Cayman Islands)
  • IFC Lawyer of the Year (senior/managing associate) – Elliot Aron (Guernsey), Sarah Farrow (Jersey) and Cheri Minors (Bermuda)
  • IFC Lawyer of the Year (associate) – Robert Quinn (Guernsey)
  • Innovative Individual of the Year – Alexandra Gill (Guernsey)

The firm itself has also been shortlisted for ‘Best Employer – Career Progression’.

Winners will be chosen by a panel of wealth management professionals in the private wealth sector, with an online public vote carrying a 10 per cent weighting in the judges’ final decision.
