Seymour Hotels has announced the appointment of Russ Brown as the new General Manager of the Pomme d’Or Hotel in Jersey.
Russ (pictured) brings with him over four decades of experience in the hospitality industry, having begun his career as a chef in London in 1979. Early in his career, he travelled extensively around the world, honing his culinary expertise and gaining a deep appreciation for global cuisines and hospitality traditions.
Transitioning into management in 2008, Russ quickly advanced to the role of Deputy General Manager at a five-star hotel in Manchester. He later moved into a senior leadership role as Group Director of Food and Beverage, based in London, where he oversaw operations across three five-star and nine four-star hotels. During this time, he successfully led the launch of multiple restaurant brands, further strengthening his reputation for innovation and operational excellence. In 2015, Russ returned to hotel management as a General Manager. Over the past decade, he has successfully led a portfolio of luxury properties, including three five-star and two four-star hotels.
