Seymour Hotels has presented a cheque for £21,125 to Dementia Jersey following a successful year of fundraising activities across the Group.
The cheque was officially handed over by Matt Seymour during a small presentation ceremony attended by representatives from both organisations.
Throughout the year, teams across Seymour Hotels organised and supported a range of fundraising initiatives to support Dementia Jersey’s vital work within the Island community. Activities included a successful car boot sale, sporting events, and ongoing menu-based donations across the Group, with contributions generated from selected dishes and every bottle of House wine sold.
Dementia Jersey’s flagship fundraising event was a Las Vegas-themed casino night held at the Pomme d’Or Hotel, which alone raised more than £10,000 for the charity.
Matt Seymour, Managing Director, Seymour Hotels said: “We’re incredibly proud to have been able to support the charity to such effect and we truly hope that the funds raised can make a tangible difference to the charity’s operations. The services provided by Dementia Jersey are so vital for islanders and their families. Whilst sadly needed, the support offered is simply irreplaceable.”
