Will Wright has joined Santander International as the new Chief Operating Officer (COO) for the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man.
As well as being COO for the Crown Dependencies division, Will is to join the bank’s Managing Director, Chief Finance Officer, and Isle of Man Managing Director on the Executive Committee.
Will joins Santander International from his previous role as Partner at Rubicon Fund Management. He initially joined its London office in 2006, becoming Chief Technologist, before relocating to Jersey where he served as Chief Risk Officer and Chief Technology Officer.
Earlier in his career Will worked in the UK as an IT Director with an online pension platform provider, and also worked for a major investment bank, creating its award-winning FX Research and Analytics Platform.
With a strong background in risk, technology, and management, Will brings a broad set of financial development skills to Santander International.

Originally from London, Will has lived in Jersey since 2014. In his spare time Will is a keen cyclist and triathlete, and coaches two junior age groups at Jersey Rugby Club.
