SandpiperCI has announced it has reached agreement with Apple to relocate their iQ Apple Store to the Waterfront’s Liberty Wharf shopping centre. iQ is the only Apple Authorised Premium Reseller (APR) and official Apple Service Provider (ASP) in the Channel Islands and will become Liberty Wharf’s retail Anchor.

The new 7000 sq ft landmark store will be sited where the former M&S Home store was located and incorporate the latest Apple up-to-date store design features as well as a much wider range of non-Apple products, including: Beats, Sonos, Bose, Belkin and many more innovative high-tech products.

Sandpiper’s CEO Tony O’Neill said: “We’re delighted Apple has approved iQ’s move to Liberty Wharf. The decision demonstrates a massive vote of confidence in the Liberty Wharf shopping complex which is also the subject of a current planning application to upgrade and rebrand the centre. After an extensive fit out, we anticipate opening the new store early in 2019.”

iQ’s relocation to Liberty Wharf will create some exciting new job vacancies to cope with the expected expansion of the business. The current iQ store in Beresford Street will close once the new store has completed the move.
