Saffery Trust has won the Private Client Trust Company (Independent) category in the 2024 eprivateclient Excellence Awards.

The firm – which won the same title in its last entry in 2022 – was hailed by judges for delivering “a very strong submission which clearly demonstrated its strengths and highlighted them as a leading firm in its field.”

Saffery Trust’s impressive staff retention rate and commitment to its clients and team members were cited as setting it apart from its competitors.

eprivateclient commented: “The firm [Saffery Trust] provided an extensive and detailed answer covering all aspects of talent management and recruitment and the Judging Panel was impressed by its 97 percent staff retention rate and a strong submission which set the firm apart from its peers.

“Saffery Trust triumphed after the Judging Panel agreed that its submission provided a very clear description of the firm’s services, providing comprehensive details on its strategy for client engagement, client led service and tailored onboarding for clients. The panel was also equally impressed by Saffery’s new employee value proposition which prioritises mental health as well as career progression.”

This year’s winners were selected from the highest number of entries since the awards began in 2021 by a panel of independent top professionals from leading firms across the UK and Europe.

Saffery Trust Guernsey and Cayman Director, Lisa Vizia (pictured), attended the award ceremony on behalf of Saffery Trust.

Lisa said: “The calibre of entrants in every category was exceptional this year, and our success is a real testament to both the first-class client service we deliver and our commitment to our people. There were some very strong contenders in the Private Client Trust Company (Independent) category and I’m grateful to the judging panel who recognised in Saffery Trust what I see every day; that we are a firm which is big enough to deliver and small enough to care.

“Our people are dedicated to our clients, our community, and to each other. This award is well-deserved and was earned by the entire Saffery Trust team in their ongoing dedication to supporting opportunity and enabling success for our clients and other colleagues alike.”
