Saffery Champness has announced five promotions in Guernsey, including the appointment of a Trust Transformation Manager.
The promotions, which also include Senior Trust Officer and Trust Officer, took effect on 1 July.
Joe Cardoso-Smale (pictured), who has been with the private client firm for 15 years, has been promoted to the newly formed Trust Transformation Manager role as part of Saffery’s commitment to driving efficiency and enhancing its service to clients.
Joe said the promotion was a culmination of the development of his role over the last nine months: “One of the great things about Saffery is that you have the freedom to carve out your own career path. I have always been interested in project work and became heavily involved in projects including data feeds, technology, and the introduction of our virtual desktop to allow all team members to work from home.
“Having worked my way up from a trainee to Assistant Trust Manager over the last 15 years, I have seen first hand how effective communication feeds directly into delivering client service excellence, which is a cornerstone of the business. In my Trust Transformation Manager role, I will keep communication at the forefront and look forward to working alongside all the Saffery teams to shape change.”
In addition to Joe’s promotion, Saffery also announces that Alex Burt and Joe Wright have been promoted to Senior Trust Officer and Laura Bean and Hugo Russell to Trust Officer.
Saffery Champness Registered Fiduciaries Managing Director, Nick Batiste, said: “Our people are essential to delivering our tier one client service. Each of these promotions are hard-earned and showcase the continual advancement of our highly skilled teams.
“The benefit of our independent structure allows us to expand our services and grow our teams to meet client needs. The introduction of the new Trust Transformation Manager role is an excellent example of adapting our structure to ensure the right people are in the right place.
“I would like to congratulate all Joe, Alex, Joe, Laura and Hugo on their well-deserved promotions.”
