Compliance, governance and corporate services specialist Redwood Group has restructured as it looks to capitalise on growth, improve operational efficiency and better promote its client service offerings to its expanding client base.
The restructure sees the formation of Redwood Group Holdings Limited, which will act as the Group’s holding company and will oversee all strategic direction and operational matters. Redwood Group Limited has been renamed Redwood Compliance (Guernsey) Limited and Redwood Group (Jersey) Limited becomes Redwood Compliance (Jersey) Limited.
The name changes have been actioned to better reflect each business’ individual activities.
Over the past 18 months, Redwood has developed its operational platform and resources to allow for expansion from a small business to an SME comprising over 40 staff to date. This period of growth included recruiting a Head of HR and IT Manager in Guernsey.
Redwood has also seen increased demand across all business lines, and particularly from larger clients looking to plug resource gaps and resolve temporary issues with a variable cost model rather than recruiting.
Last year, Redwood also launched its new office in Ireland, taking its reach beyond the Channel Islands for the first time. The success of the firm’s business model has seen it develop client relationships across numerous new territories, including the UK, USA, Belgium and Bermuda.
James Wood (pictured), Redwood’s Chief Executive, said: “We are thrilled to announce Redwood’s new restructure as we position ourselves to capitalise on an unprecedented period of expansion.
“We have invested heavily in our team and are proud of our growing reputation as a leading compliance, governance and corporate services provider. We are excited about continuing on this trajectory as we expand our operations and expertise across all the jurisdictions we service – this restructure reflects that commitment.”
