The Relocate to Guernsey Show, held in London last week, welcomed a record number of attendees, marking a significant milestone in efforts to promote Guernsey as a destination for relocation.
The event brought together 25 Guernsey-based businesses and organisations, all working collaboratively to showcase the island’s unique blend of opportunity, community, and quality of life.
From finance and property to education and wellbeing, the show offered a comprehensive view of what relocating to Guernsey’s Open Market can offer.
Jo Stoddart, Director of Locate Guernsey, praised the spirit of collaboration: “This year’s show was a fantastic demonstration of what can be achieved when Guernsey comes together with a shared purpose. The record attendance reflects the growing interest in our island, and we’re proud to have created a space where people could explore the possibilities of living and working in Guernsey.”
Gillian Mabbett, Relationship Manager, highlighted the importance of community engagement: “We’re not just helping people relocate – we’re helping them integrate. Through initiatives like our regular settling events, we’re providing newcomers with opportunities to contribute their expertise and get involved in the local community. It’s about building connections that benefit everyone.”
