The Jersey Hospitality Association has announced the appointment of Jonathon Swaine to its Management Committee.
Jonathon (pictured) has held senior leadership positions in the UK hospitality industry and will chair the JHA’s Bars, Pubs and Clubs Sub-Sector, stepping into the role held by his predecessor at Randalls, Gavin Reid.
Before moving to Jersey, Jonathon’s roles included Managing Director – Pubs at Shepherd Neame, Managing Director – Venues at the Rank Group and at Fuller, Smith and Turner PLC, where he was Managing Director of its premium pub and hotel arm.
Jonathon Swaine said: “I am honoured to be joining the Board of the Jersey Hospitality Association and look forward to contributing meaningfully to the Committee’s strategy and delivery in representing and promoting this critical sector of the Jersey economy.”
He graduated from The University of Leeds with a degree in Geography and holds a graduate master’s degree in marketing. He is an alumnus of both IMD and Columbia Business Schools. Jonathon is a NED at Brentford Football Club Community Sports Trust and is an adviser for Sona, a market-leading AI-driven workforce management tool.

With his vast experience across the drinks industry, Jonathon is a huge asset to our island, and I and the rest of the Committee are looking forward to working closely with him.”
