Ogier has announced six promotions in its Jersey team, spanning departments and encompassing lawyers and support staff.
Funds specialist Alexandra O’Grady becomes managing associate in funds and Daniel Maine (pictured) becomes counsel in the dispute resolution team, whilst Steve Hutchins has been promoted to senior marketing manager, Andrew Renouf becomes senior management accountant, Hazel Thomson has been promoted to senior group talent development manager and Ashleigh Todd to assistant management accountant.
Jersey practice partner Raulin Amy said: “We are delighted that we are able to recognise the hard work and commitment of talented colleagues in such a diverse range of roles. They have all had a hand in contributing to Ogier’s success and we look forward to their future development in their roles.”
Alexandra O’Grady joined Ogier as a trainee 12 years ago and has progressed to become a highly valued member of the investment funds team. She specialises in fund formation, regulatory advice and stock exchange listings and has also engaged with internal projects seeking to improve and streamline the services that Ogier provides.
Daniel Maine returned to Jersey and joined Ogier last year having gained experience working in London (including nine years in the legal group of the FCA’s enforcement division) while also studying for a Masters in Financial Economics. Daniel has become a core member of Ogier’s Jersey dispute resolution team, bringing particular insight into the world of contentious supervision and enforcement of regulatory cases.
Steve Hutchins joined Ogier to support its award-winning rebrand. Steve has worked on a number of high-profile product and project launches, honing his skill of translating what’s inside people’s heads into strong visual campaigns, consistently coming up with creative and engaging ways to convey key messages.
Andrew Renouf has been with Ogier for two years and in that time has re-developed Ogier’s cost management reporting. He is responsible for areas of the firm’s financial management and plays a significant role in budgeting and planning processes.
Hazel Thomson has helped with the firm’s goal of being the first choice for talented professionals. Among her recent successful projects are the introduction of global management development and senior fee earner programmes, as well as support for the development of our key talent across the firm.
Ashleigh Todd joined Ogier three years ago and works across Ogier’s different jurisdictions to help produce management accounts. Ashleigh is studying towards her full ACCA accountancy qualification.
