Grant Thornton Channel Islands has promoted 15 people across its Audit, Tax, Advisory and Support departments.
Among the 220 staff across Grant Thornton’s Jersey and Guernsey offices, these individuals have been recognised for all their hard work and have started 2023 with a promotion.
In Jersey, two of the promotions are within the Audit team – Evan Baxa and Beatrice Santiago who have both been promoted to Assistant Manager. Another two of the promotions are within Tax, Davis Krievins has been promoted to Tax Senior and Alison Neale has been promoted to Tax Manager.
Alison is a qualified tax technician, and specialises in the provision of tax compliance services for individuals and companies, her experience encompasses all aspects of tax in Jersey, including the complex distribution rules and the taxation of Jersey Trusts and Estates.
Harry Roberts has been promoted to Recovery and Reorganisation Assistant Manager and is currently studying towards his Chartered Fraud Examiner qualification. This will take the total number of Grant Thornton Qualified Fraud Examiners in the Channel Islands to eight.
Clare Egan has been promoted to Business Advisory, Assistant Manager and Paul Neal has been promoted to Risk Assurance Senior Associate.
Within the Support team, Suzanne has been promoted to Finance Assistant Manager and Katie Bellamy-Burt has been promoted to People & Culture, Manager. Katie has been involved in several key internal initiatives, which supported Grant Thornton being awarded Best Health, Wellbeing and Mental Fitness Initiative in the CIPD 2022 awards.
From Grant Thornton’s Guernsey office an additional six members of staff have also been promoted. Two of these to senior positions within the organisation, Oliver Beaton has been promoted to Recovery and Reorganisation, Senior Manager, and Nikki Le Messurier to Risk & Compliance, Associate Director.
