Grant Thornton has announced the latest promotions across its offices in Jersey and Guernsey. In total, 15 Grant Thornton employees have started 2023 with a promotion.
In Guernsey, Oliver Beaton, has been promoted to Senior Manager within the Recovery and Reorganisation department. Oliver is a Chartered Certified Accountant and has worked in Recovery & Reorganisation since 2016.Oliver has experience in complex cross-border forensic investigations and asset tracing, and he has a particular interest in audit negligence and trust dispute matters.
Also promoted, is Sharrel Mendes to Tax Assistant Manager. Sharrel joined Grant Thornton in March 2018, having worked at the Guernsey Revenue Service for 6 years. At Grant Thornton, Sharrell mainly deals with UK VAT and is due to complete her ATT qualification in 2023.
Natalie Collins has been promoted to Audit Senior, Conor Adamson to Audit Senior, and within Grant Thornton’s Support team, Katie De Carteret, has been promoted to People & Culture Assistant Manager and Nikki Le Messurier, has been promoted to Risk & Compliance, Associate Director. Nikki will join the other service line Associate Directors; James Pirie, Andy Shaw, Liz Hawke and Tanya Scholtz. This newly created position, will assist the Grant Thornton Directors, develop, and deliver Grant Thornton’s service line strategy.
From Grant Thornton’s Jersey office an additional nine members of staff have also been promoted.
