CI communications agency, Direct Input, has promoted Laura Morel to the role of PR Director.
Laura’s new role will see her carry out business development for the firm, increasing its social media and digital content offering and ensuring that the firm maintains the high standard of communications for which it has become renowned.
She has worked at Direct Input for nearly three years following a long and successful career in the finance sector.
Laura said: “It’s a testament to the passion I have for this job that I’ve been able to achieve so much in such a short period of time. I still have great ambitions for Direct Input and what we can achieve as a team and these are very exciting times ahead.”
Alongside her role at Direct Input, Laura has established herself as one of the island’s top bloggers and influencers, teaching social media to business owners in her spare time, something which will now be moved in-house with Direct Input helping companies improve their content and engagement levels.
Laura is also enrolled on the first ever Digital Leadership programme as part of the new Digital Jersey Academy. Laura said: “Digital advances are changing the way we tell our story so it’s important that we are at the forefront of developments, learning how to best utilise technology so that the voice of our clients can be heard above the masses.”
Managing Director James Filleul said: “Laura is one of Jersey’s best-known digital influencers, and she will be using those skills, allied to her technical background in financial services, to develop our online offering. I’m really pleased to be able to ask her to lead our PR team and help them to continue offering the best possible service to our clients.”
Direct Input is one of the island’s oldest PR agencies, created to provide a superior media relations service. At the cutting edge of PR, Direct Input is always exploring new ways in which it can help its clients get across their brand in an intelligent and thought-provoking manner.
