POS has appointed Tristan Wheadon as Finance Controller & Commercial Manager.
Tristan’s role is to support the financial control and management of the company’s workplace design, build and fit-out projects across the Channel Islands.
Tristan brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the team at POS. During his career, he has been the Deputy CFO for a company that helps to provide the security framework that governments and security agencies need to build their intelligence capacity.
Before this, Tristan worked in audit and advisory for a global accountancy firm, a local trust company and a global private and investment bank. He has recently assisted a local property specialist company with its commercial sales and property management portfolios.
Tristan’s understanding of the corporate world, local real estate and operational systems will help to strengthen POS’s client services and internal efficiencies. His role will include detailed budget analysis, internal financial controls, project performance oversight, budget, and supplier management.
Rory Inglis, Managing Director of POS, commented on the appointment: “As we grow, managing and understanding data is becoming increasingly important. Tristan brings excellent experience and skills to help us model our business and to ensure we are planning and delivering our projects effectively and successfully for our clients.”
Tristan (pictured) added: “I am looking forward to being part of the POS team and working with POS’s clients as they take a new approach to how they work and refresh their office design strategies. Many such projects are significant and complex undertakings and need first-class project and financial management.”
