Policy Centre Jersey has announced that Wendy Dorman has joined its Management Committee.
Wendy (pictured) is a Chartered Accountant with extensive experience in UK and international taxation, principally in the financial services sector, advising clients across banking, investment management and real estate.
Wendy retired as partner and leader of the PwC Channel Islands tax practice in 2015, following which she spent ten years as non-executive director and audit committee chair of listed companies, including Jersey Electricity. She is also former President of the Jersey Society of Certified and Chartered Accountants, and former Chair of the Jersey Institute of Directors.
Commenting, Wendy said: “We all have different ideas about how to secure a bright future for the island of Jersey and for all of us who call it home, but if we can make our judgements based on good information we are far more likely to succeed.
“Jersey Policy Centre aims to enhance knowledge and understanding of the key challenges and opportunities facing the island, and the impact of policy decisions. If I can play a small part in achieving these aims I see this as a very worthwhile cause.”
