Channel Island law firm Ogier has announced that it has renewed the gold sponsorship of the Guernsey Property and Construction Awards – Guernsey’s leading showcase for talent in the property, development and construction sectors – for a further two years.
The Awards, established in 2015, is an initiative committed to celebrating Guernsey’s property and building industry sectors, and raising awareness of issues facing professionals within those sectors across the Bailiwick.
Last year, as well as rewarding those who excelled within their field of expertise, the event raised over £8,000 for the benefit of local charity the Priaulx Premature Baby Foundation.
Advocate Martyn Baudains, Ogier partner and property lawyer, says: “The most recent statistics reflect some cause for optimism in the Guernsey property sector – but the most persuasive reason for confidence is the continued innovation, creativity and talent in the field of property and construction.
“We are very pleased to continue to support these awards as a showcase for that talent, and for the great work that is being done right across the island.”
Julie Todd, Managing Director of Collaborate Communications and co-founder/organiser of the Guernsey Property and Construction Awards says: “In this time of social, political and economic change, we’re delighted to partner with Ogier, and to cover key issues affecting property and construction businesses within the Bailiwick. The support of Ogier, together with our category sponsors, allows us to recognise and acknowledge the excellent work being carried out by the island’s experts. We very much look forward to a fruitful partnership with the Ogier team for another two years.”
The Guernsey Property and Construction Awards will take place on Thursday 14 November 2019. Full details about the event, together with details of how to book tickets, can be found here.
