Ogier has 43 lawyers ranked across 10 departments in its Guernsey, Jersey and London offices in the latest 2025 Chambers UK Directory.
The Directory includes 28 practitioners from Jersey and 14 from Guernsey, while partner Jeremy Snead is ranked in the London office for his expertise in Cayman Islands Law.
In Jersey specifically, Ogier’s team ranked top tier once again across all its key practice areas – corporate and finance, dispute resolution, employment, investment funds, property and trusts.
Ranked within Ogier’s Corporate and Finance teams in Jersey are partner Katrina Edge and partner Bruce MacNeil whilst in the Corporate team those ranked include Raulin Amy (pictured), Matthew Shaxson, Richard Daggett, James Fox and Simon Dinning.
In Ogier’s Dispute Resolution team in Jersey, recognised as an eminent practitioner is global managing partner Edward Mackereth. Nick Williams is described as “an outstanding lawyer and brilliant advocate”, while Damian Evans and Oliver Passmore are recognised as notable practitioners alongside ‘up and coming’ partner James Angus. New for this year’s rankings is ‘Associate to watch’ Matthew Davies.
Within the Employment team, Helen Ruelle is ranked alongside ‘up and coming’ Will Austin-Vautier.
Notable practitioners within Ogier’s Investment Funds team in Jersey include Emily Haithwaite, Sophie Reguengo and Niamh Lalor as well as ‘associate to watch’ Alexandra O’Grady.
Ranked lawyers in the Property team include Chris Renouf, Katharine Marshall, Sarah Parish, and Jonathan Hughes.
In Ogier’s Jersey Trusts team, ranked lawyers include Josephine Howe, James Campbell, Katherine Neal, and Steve Meiklejohn. This year, Henry Wickham joins the directory as an ‘up and coming’ practitioner.

In Guernsey, the 2025 guide includes 14 lawyers from across the firm’s Corporate, Investment Funds, Dispute Resolution, Property, Employment and Trusts teams.
In Corporate and Finance, which incorporates investment funds, included in the rankings are partners Bryon Rees, Richard Sharp, Christopher Jones, and Paul Chanter.
In Dispute Resolution, ranked individuals include partner Simon Davies, and Mathew Newman. Sandie Lyne is ranked as ‘Up and Coming’, while ‘Associate to Watch’ Heidi Sandy is newly ranked.
Within Property, partner Martyn Baudains is ranked whilst senior associate Martín Casas is listed as an ‘Associate to Watch’.
In the Trusts team, partner Matt Guthrie is ranked, as are Catherine Moore and Chris Hards.
Rachel DeSanges, who is head of Employment for Ogier in Guernsey, is also ranked.
