In Guernsey, team lead and global head of Private Wealth Matt Guthrie is a tier one practitioner who “has outstanding technical ability while maintaining a commercial view and pragmatic approach. Personable, technically brilliant, and commercially astute.” Catherine Moore, who maintains her tier three ranking, is “excellent. She is commercial, forward-thinking and her attention to detail is second to none. She works very hard to deliver, even on demanding timescales.” While “associate to watch” Chris Hards is “simply excellent, a credit not just to the firm but the profession.”
Ogier’s Jersey team members have moved up the rankings with James Campbell progressing to tier one and both Josephine Howe and Katherine Neal moving up to tier two. James Campbell is described as “very approachable and able”, while Josephine Howe “brings a perfect balance of professionalism, attentiveness, friendliness and level of service, each and every time”. Katherine Neal is described as “knowledgeable and practical – a solution finder, with great experience in trusts.”
Global head of Private Wealth, Matt Guthrie (pictured), said: “We’re very pleased to see the team’s strength across the board recognised in the new Chambers High Net Worth Guide. This has been another year of strong growth and performance across all of our jurisdictions, with the team continuing to go from strength to strength. These results are testament to the talent, dedication, and client-centricity of our team.”
Global head of Trust Disputes Rachael Reynolds said: “I’m delighted to see this recognition for the Trusts Advisory Group, which highlights the strength of our team across our contentious and non-contentious offering. As we continue to grow and expand our capabilities, we never lose sight of the fact that our clients are looking for first-class legal advice that’s also commercial, and for a human relationship with their advisers.”
