ODPA prepares for the future with move to new central town location

The Office of the Data Protection Authority is moving offices from its current premises at St Martin’s House, Le Bordage to Lefebvre Street.

The move comes after the current lease ended, prompting a search for a new, more suitable office which will allow the Office of the Data Protection Authority (ODPA) to consolidate resources in a more convenient location while also making efficiency savings which can be put towards better serving the island’s community.

Twice-monthly drop-ins for the public have been paused since the end of May, and will resume in late August. Any enquiries or concerns will still be dealt with over the phone as usual. An online consultation can be organised if needed. The telephone number will remain the same.

“With our relocation the ODPA will be entering a modern and cost-effective office that will provide us an even better environment to serve and engage with the Bailiwick’s residents.” said Commissioner Brent Homan (pictured). “We look forward to holding even more outreach and education activities through our new office.”
